The Real Housewives of New York City may have left St. Barts and our gorgeous Villa Oasis de Salines, but St Barth remains in the minds the show’s viewers. Three episodes of RHONY in St. Barts got the phones ringing and we are certainly receiving lots of positive feedback about our gorgeous island; so many people are grateful to have found St. Barth Properties and are booking villa and hotel stays through my company. Would you like to experience the magic of St. Barth? Please contact [email protected].
What a coincidence! I was able to meet Ramona Singer on Cape Cod this summer. Do you know that Ramona has her own line of Pinot Grigio? Yes, she is a business woman and was promoting her wine at a liquor store about one mile from my house on Cape Cod (where I spend my time when I am not in St. Barts). Authors sign their books, right? Well, Ramona was signing her bottles of wine so I hopped in my car, went to Luke’s and got in line (a long one). When I finally reached the front, I was able to chat with Ramona and bought 6 bottles of her signed 2011 Delle Venezie Pinot Grigio. To me, in real life Ramona is a nice lady and the wine “with crisp acidity and balanced fruit” is quite good.
Some of you have asked us to tell you more about that sexy looking private chef who was cooking for the Housewives (and you saw Sonja trying to put the moves on him, too). Chef Jean Baptiste Barre is the owner of Le Bistroy wine bar in the St. Jean area. He owns Absolutely Wine and has a very impressive wine cellar where you can attend his wine school and also experience some wine tasting. Enjoy the Charcuterie with pairings of wine. You can also purchase delicacies to enhance your meals at home. Can you hire him to cook for you one evening during your stay? Bien sûr, our concierge will be pleased to arrange for a sumptuous candlelight dinner prepared and served in your private villa and be sure to try Le Bistroy while you are there.
