Le Guanhani to Reopen as a Rosewood Resort in the Spring of 2021!
l am delighted to share the news that Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has assumed management of Le Guanahani, the legendary St. Barth retreat, and will reopen as Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth in the spring of 2021.
The marketing department asked me to let my readers know that this rebranding heralds the dawn of a new era for the iconic property, which is undergoing an extensive renovation following its closure in late Summer 2017 due to the effects of Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Following an extensive rebuild, Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth, will maintain the unique spirit of the resort. The transformation is perfectly embodying the Rosewood philosophy of A Sense of Place®, with local sensibilities and reflecting the beauty of its Grand Cul de Sac waterfront location, and the island around it to inspire many onsite offerings.
The ambiance includes the secluded setting on a peninsula overlooking the incredible beaches of Marigot Bay and Grand Cul de Sac; stunning architecture by David M. Schwarz Architects and interior design by Luis Pons Design Lab; and evocation of the rich and authentic French Caribbean heritage of St. Barth through a signature colorful style highlighted by hues of turquoise inspired by the crystal blue Caribbean, the yellow of the tropical sun, and lavender as a nod to the South of France.
The reopening will debut the renovation of all 66 guestrooms, suites, and villas, many with new private pools. Updated amenities will include a distinct beachfront dining concept and new ocean-facing pool, Rosewood Explorers children’s club, fitness center, tennis court, dedicated event spaces, and Sense, A Rosewood Spa. New guest programs and services are currently in development as well and will be shared later this year.
Bookings will be available for Spring 2021 beginning this October. Please contact [email protected] or call 1-800-421-3396; international + 1-508-528-7727 to reserve your special place at the reimagined Rosewood Le Guanahani St. Barth.
I have never heard of St.Barth! After looking at all the pictures I was truly impressed! No big buildings….not crowed….beautiful beaches and a very laid back life stile…WONDERFUL!
I just looked out the window of my house in Hamilton Ontario Canada. There is about 20cm. of new snow down. The outside temperature is -6 c. The wind gusting to 25 km. And when I have finished this email I will go out and use the snow blower to clear the driveway.!
Please send me a list of places to stay and please include a complete price list and avalible dates. Please send this information to. [email protected]
