I finally made it back to St. Barth in early November. The island was on its final push to be prepared for The Season. Many roads were under construction, so we had to be creative as to how to get from here to there. Installing underground wiring is a huge undertaking, but the result will be well worth it. The roads have reopened, so Come on Down.
I have been busy with villa and hotel inspections ever since. On December 7th, 2018, we hosted a very special “Launch The Season” Soirée at Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa in celebration of the 30th (Pearl) anniversary of when I founded St. Barth Properties and trademarked Live Your Dream®. Guests were greeted with a signature Pearl cocktail made just for the occasion, or a Coupe de Champagne and then escorted to a portrait corner that was beautifully decorated by the famous florist Djordje Varda for a keepsake photo.
The guest list included villa owners, hotel partners, service partners, friends as well as all our clients who were vacationing here at the time. DJ Philippe Paris and singer Don Soley entertained us while everyone enjoyed food and drink and chatted throughout the evening. Some of the team from our US office were there to welcome people, too.
I attempted to start my speech and introduce our new Live Your Dream® catalogue a few times, but was interrupted by a couple of power outages, reminding us all that we were on an island, after all, and to just go with the flow. I finally accomplished the feat in English, and made a stab at giving it in French, too and it seemed to be well-received If you would like us to mail you a catalogue, please click here.
I wish you the happiest of holidays and I hope you enjoy the photos that were taken by our very talented photographer Laurent Benoit.
See you in St. Barth!
