I’m serious…the weather here is gorgeous! Look at the pictures I just took. I don’t mean to rub it in…BUT…What is keeping you from picking up the phone (1-800-421-3396) or sending an email ([email protected]). We will get you out of the cold ASAP. You deserve to thaw out and enjoy a week or two of bliss on beautiful St. Barth.
Over the weekend my repeat clients who were due to arrive at beautiful Villa Plaisance on Thursday, saw the forecast for Philadelphia and decided to get out now! They were able to change their flights, get rooms for the night in St. Maarten and we were able to add an extra day to their villa stay. It is as easy as that. Now they can enjoy a longer time in St. Barth. (They told that they already know that next year they will book even more nights.)
Why not consider jumping on a plane in the next few days so that you can take advantage of a very last minute special that is being offered by the wonderful luxurious Hotel Guanahani & Spa. Relax with a complimentary massage; enjoy the beach, their wonderful restaurants (one evening on them!) by taking advantage of this special.
Romantic Getaway to Hotel Guanahani & Spa-St. Barts – Now Thru February 14, 2011
– For any 5-night minimum booking
– 2 complimentary massages during the stay
– 1 dinner for two during the stay
– Valid from today to 14 February 2011
(Watch for my future blog about the hotel’s beautiful new Admiral’s and Serenity Suites.)
Prefer to stay in a villa? We have lots of choices. Just give us your “wish list” and we will make suggestions that would be a perfect match.

Peg, Mean’t to ask you–Is Le Rivage still in business? Our favorite place for lunch. Also wondering where Sylvie is now..So many memories. Bob
Hi Bob, The St. Barth Beach Hotel was sold a few years ago and Le Rivage closed. However, for a bit of nostalgia you can dine at Andy’s Hideaway because Andy bought their chairs (which still stay “Le Rivage”) and you can sit in one of them and reminisce. If it is for some of their yummy menu items and their famous Rhum Vanille, Hervé the former owner of Le Rivage opened Côté Port and it is located on the harbor. Steve and I dine there all the time.
As far as the former St. Barth Beach Hotels is concerned, a luxury hotel, Nilia was being built in the hotel’s place but construction was halted for financial reasons. From Bruno Magras, the President of the COM, Bruno, “The property is owned by a hedge fund from Britain and Switzerland and they are asking 65 M euros for it”. He added, “It is my understanding that people are trying to negotiate with the bank to buy it for a lesser amount.” We are all hoping that someone will buy it and finish it.
