Bonjour from sunny St. Barth!
I’m back for my meeting in Las Vegas; I’ve stashed my coat and business attire into the closet and am so happy to feel the warm breezes again. St Barth is beckoning you…
Saturday evening we decided to head to Gustavia and dine at L’Entracte, a wonderful casual restaurant on the harbor. I drive by it every day on my way to my office and I always see Jean Pierre preparing the dough for his famous pizza. He has it down to a science and the end result it was worth the wait! Steve ordered the “Pizza L’Entracte” and loved it.
We shared the nems for an appetizer and I had the Cordon Bleu; they were both delicious.
Can you guess the name of the owner of L’Entracte? – Alain Barthelemy! Parfait
L’Entracte is open every day for lunch and dinner except Sunday and reservations are recommended. Our concierges Julia (USA) or Magda (St. Barth) will be happy to make them for you.
Yesterday, I visited Villa Diaco with some clients who wanted to see some villas for their return visit to St. Barth next year. (Trust me; going back to St. Barth over and over again is the norm. Come here once and you are hooked!) Diaco is perched on the tip-top of Vitet. We walked in and the view captivated us. Look to the left and see all the way over to yachts moored outside of the harbor or to the right and see the waves of Petit Cul de Sac as well as the kite surfers at Grand Cul de Sac. Look straight ahead and enjoy the view of St. Maarten and Anguilla in the distance. Oh, and the sunsets! They are sensational.
Villa Diaco was recently refreshed with new paint, new living room furniture and extras like an iPod dock. It features a king bedroom and is truly a very romantic hideaway. For more information, please call -1800-421-3396 or email [email protected].

Hi Peg,
You are making me very hungry for Jean Pierre’s pizza. Our favorite is the Vegetarian (no capers please). He is such a nice person, and oh those pizzas It’s one of our very favorite places as evidenced by the fact that we usually try to get the 2 seats outside and watch him make the pizzas. Enjoy, and thanks for the blog. If I can’t be there, I appreciate the vicarious experience. I now want a pizza.
We are very interested in your villa Diaco! Is it available for April 13, 2013 for 12-14 days? We are here presently and would love to see this villa. Is that possible? Merci beaucoup! Peggy
Hi Peggy, I (or someone in my office) would be happy to show you Villa Diaco. Currently it is occupied. How long are you going to be in St. Barth and where are you staying? I would need to check with our clients to see if it would be ok to visit the villa. Sunny regards, Peg
